The nomination period for America’s Farmers Grow Rural EducationSM ended on April 15. Thank you to everyone who nominated a public school district in your area! Applications from nominated school districts will be scored and evaluated over the next three months. Winning schools will be announced in August and will also be posted to this website. Please check back to find out if the school you nominated is a grant winner.
WINNER ANNOUNCEMENT IN AUGUST
For the second year in a row, the Monsanto Fund is gearing-up to invest $2.3 million to strengthen math and science education in rural communities through America’s Farmers Grow Rural EducationSM. Administrators of nominated school districts can submit grant applications through April 30, 2013 to enhance their math and/or science programs. Winning schools will be announced in August and will also be posted to this website.
Farmers in 1,271 counties across 39 states had the opportunity to grow the next generation by nominating a rural, public school district to apply for a grant of up to $25,000. Overall, the Monsanto Fund will donate up to $2.3 million to rural America. Together, we can grow the next generation.
